This research paper seeks to examine the nature of the Indian surveillance state in Cyberspace which is permissible under the laws passed by the legislature and the agreements that have to be signed by the telecom and internet service providers in line with the right to privacy which has been recognized by the honourable Supreme Court, also discussing the historical developments which have led to this right.
